About the Author Kathy Duffy

Kathy Duffy and her husband Bill have raised two daughters. They live in Georgia on Southern Seasons Farm. They have over twenty animals on their hobby farm including horses, goats, dogs, cats, chickens and bees.

Kathy competed in the sport of Dressage and earned a USDF Bronze Medal. Her completion horse became lame and she decided it was time for them both to retire.

She still does daily farm chores, tends to the garden, and has a new passion, writing books for children.

Kathy believes that children who love to read have an easier time in school. She thinks the earlier you get books into their hands it will instill a foundation for the love of reading.

She hopes that children find her books fun! She also hopes they learn something and she leaves them wanting to find another book to read.
